About the document

This methodology document is to be used to calculate renewable energy certificate (REC) entitlement (energy savings) for solar water heater (SWH) or heat pump water heaters (HPWH) with a volumetric water storage capacity up to and including 700 litres for the purposes of their listing in the Register of Solar Water Heaters. The Register of Solar Water Heaters is kept by the Regulator as describe in Regulation 19C.
