About the document

The Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 (the Act) requires the Renewable Energy Regulator (Regulator) to assess the Annual Energy Acquisition Statements or Renewable Energy Shortfall Statements, and determine REC liabilities arising from acquisitions of electricity.

If you're not satisfied with a decision of the Regulator, discuss it with the contact person listed in the original decision letter. The contact person will be a staff member of the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER).

This gives you and the ORER a opportunity to correct misunderstandings, present new information or evidence and get an incorrect decision revised.
