About the form
Under Section 44 (1) and 46 (1) of the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 (the Act) liable entities who acquired electricity under a relevant acquisition during a year must lodge an annual energy acquisition statement or renewable energy shortfall statement for each compliance year on or before:
- 14 February in the following year; or
- Any later day allowed by the Regulator.
Lodgement details
Due date
A completed 2011 statement is due for lodgement with the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER) by the close of business Tuesday 14 February 2011.
The original signed and completed statement can be delivered by courier or posted, and must be received by the due date. The ORER advises respondents that faxing the statement to 02 6159 7780 is undertaken at their own risk, as security cannot be guaranteed and original signed hard copies are required to be lodged by the due date.
