Agents and Installers Workshops, August 2010
In August 2010, Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator held workshops for agents and installers of solar water heaters, small-scale solar panel, wind and hydro systems.
The presentation at the workshops addressed:
- Procedures and measures regarding safety and compliance
- Administrative changes, particularly regarding implementation of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme
- Current ORER administrative procedures to ensure compliance with the RET.

Partial Exemption Certificate (PEC) Workshops, May 2010
In May 2010, Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator held workshops for prescribed persons (typically entities that carry out emissions-intensive trade-exposed activities) that may apply for a partial exemption certificate (PEC).
The presentation at the workshops addressed:
- Understanding the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme
- How partial exemption applies to the RET
- Eligibility and processes
- Liable entities – reporting responsibilities
- Completing the PEC application and providing supporting information
- Methodology for calculating partial exemption.
